Training took place in September of this year 230 educators from 20 pilots schools of Kyiv in the project "Complex psychosocial support of teachers and training of crisis interventionists for Kyiv schools during the war".

20 school directors and 20 school psychologists from Kyiv trained in Warsaw under the program "Activities of crisis interventionists". They will now be able to provide psychosocial support to children with high levels of stress and trauma symptoms, identify children at risk and children with the most severe symptoms, and refer them to psychotherapists outside the school environment.

The project team also conducted training for 190 teachers from Kyiv under the "Safe Space" program. Teachers received knowledge about that, how to create emotionally safe classrooms, recognize trauma and refer children to practical psychologists.

The project "Complex psychosocial support of teachers and training of crisis interveners for Kyiv schools during the war" is implemented by the NGO “Words help” and specialists Center for mental health of the National Academy of Sciences with financial support Plan International.
