36 new consultants of the CETA program received certification

They received certification and will provide assistance to the population of Ukraine 36 new consultants CETA programs.

Specialists from 8 regions of Ukraine: of Kyiv, Chernihivska, of Zhytomyr, of Ternopil, of Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia and Odesa. These are doctors, psychotherapists, psychologists from public organizations, social service specialists and psychologists, who are in private practice.

"The increase in the team of CETA consultants expands the possibilities of providing free psychological assistance to Ukrainians, who experience stress every day because of the war", – says Oleksandra Bronevytska, manager of the CETA Ukraine program.

Specialists were trained in CETA's evidence-based approach, which is used in Ukraine with 2016 year. The method has proven its effectiveness in processing the consequences of trauma, depression, substance abuse and anxiety.

The training of new consultants was conducted by the Mental Health Center of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with the support of the USAID project "Development of a Sustainable Public Health System", which is implemented by the Pact organization.
