ABOUT THE PROJECT:

As a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, millions of Ukrainians suffered: someone lost relatives, was injured or had to leave his home. Ukrainians face losses every day, grief, sadly, injuries, stress, anxiety, by panic, confusion. War causes not only physical wounds, but also psychological, often invisible, but those, which can prevent you from living for years.

The CETA program helps veterans, to members of their families and internally displaced persons from 2015 year with the support of USAID, therefore, even after a full-scale invasion, our team could not stand aside and supported the Ukrainians, who were in trouble. To continue providing support, in May, we launched a new project together with the organization CETA Global supported by Chemonics to help everyone, who suffered from the war.

▪ Developed by mental health researchers at Johns Hopkins University based on the principles of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.

U 2019 last year, we also developed and conducted short CETA online seminars "Stress: how to recognize and what to do" for veterans and their families. Preliminary results indicate that, that people benefited from the skills learned during the workshops. Publication of research results, which we implemented for that, to evaluate the effectiveness of such workshops, will happen soon.
