THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
Anastasia considers psychological counseling/therapy as a space, in which a person can stop, better understand your experience and gradually restore your inner balance.
The first principle is psychoeducation and understanding of one's own reactions.
When a person experiences stress or traumatic events, her emotions and behavioral responses may seem confusing or frightening. Explanation of that, how the psyche works in difficult circumstances, helps create a basis for stabilization and gives a person more clarity about his own condition.
The second principle is a safe and non-judgmental space.
It is important in counseling, so that a person can talk about difficult experiences without fear of judgment or pressure. The atmosphere of acceptance allows you to gradually explore your own experience and find new ways to cope with difficulties.
The third principle is an individual approach.
It is important to consider the client's life circumstances, its resources and request at this stage. The work is being built at a pace, which is strong and safe for a person, without pressure and haste. This approach helps to make the process more understandable and supportive and promotes sustainable change.
Anastasia believes, that even after a difficult experience a person can regain a sense of clarity, internal support and ability to move forward, when support is nearby, understanding and a safe space for change.
