“A seminar on system coaching in the system of an educational program for obtaining the qualification of a supervisor according to ANSE criteria (Associations of national supervisory organizations of Europe)”

The system coaching program meets the criteria of the Association of National Supervisory Organizations of Europe (ANSE), based in Vienna 1997 year in order to ensure the European standard of supervisory professionalization.

Supervision and coaching are forms of counseling, that ensure and develop the quality of communication and cooperation in professional contexts.

Supervision:

• supports processes of reflection and decision-making on current professional issues;
• supports in overcoming challenges in difficult professional situations and conflicts;
• clarifies and develops own attitude to work tasks, functions and roles;
• supports change processes and their management;
• encourages innovative solutions to new challenges;
• offers preventive measures to avoid mobbing and burnout.

Coaching:

• counseling people, who hold management positions;
• impulses to perform leadership roles;
• development of personal efficiency and productivity;
• support in change processes and problem situations;
• support for personal career planning.

Supervisors and coaches work as freelance consultants.

Thanks to the union in ANSE — the Association of National Supervisory Organizations of Europe, based 1997 year in Vienna, throughout Europe, the concept of supervision as an independent profession with standardized educational training was implemented, quality assurance systems based on live professional and scientific discussions and ethical codes.

Target group: persons, which

• reached the age of 27, 
• have a certain work experience
• no less 2 years of participation in projects of own therapeutic/supervisory experience
• participated in the system coaching block

Form and program of study:

• semi-open group (free participation of members of previous study groups of the project)
• duration — 8 modules per 6-7 days — 461 aud. year

Educational supervision:

• in an individual setting - 4 year
• in a group setting – 32 year

Obtaining a certificate involves :

• 45 year. documented educational individual and group sessions of coaching and supervision
• writing and defending the term paper (30 page)
• participants are expected to apply the acquired knowledge in practice under supervision and to create an interactive learning group on the basis of self-organization (the so-called peer-group).

The proposed educational model of coaching, as bases of complex supervision education, is multimodal, that is, methodically pluralistic. It integrates methods of consulting organizations, group dynamics, psychoanalysis, psychodramas, systemic, client-centric, narrative approaches and Gestalt psychology.

Graduates of the educational course become candidates for membership in the Ukrainian Union of Supervision and Coaching (USSK), which is a member of ANSE. The author and leader of the program is a teaching trainer and supervisor of the supervision section of the Austrian Association for Group Therapy and Group Dynamics (ÖAGG) Elizabeth Alder (Vienna).
