how to recognize and react. And that's fine until that point, until they overshadow everything, feeling short of breath. Until a person gets bogged down in anxiety, self-accusations, self-criticism and the state of "everything is lost".
⠀
It is impossible to get rid of unproductive thoughts once and for all. This is a constant process and a person's own choice in a certain situation. But regular training and analysis can reduce them several times. work-related?
⠀
Remember the last stressful one / unpleasant situation, what happened to you. What thoughts did you have then?? Ideally, write them down. Take one of these thoughts and ask yourself a few questions:
⠀
– Why did this thought arise??
– Is this opinion true??
– How did the idea come about??
– Its emergence was influenced by this particular event or some past situations?
– How do you feel?, when you think so?
– How you will feel, if you replace this thought with another, more productive one?
⠀
Whether we realize it or not, but we are constantly conducting an internal dialogue, we constantly ask ourselves something. Some of these questions are helpful, while others may harm. If you asked yourself the previous questions and understood, that this thought rather prevents you from solving the problem, than vice versa, recall the event or situation again. And then ask yourself again:
⠀
That there is good in this situation? Even the smallest thing.
What opportunities does it open up?? How options for the development of events are possible?
What thought will help you feel better?
How this thought will theoretically affect my next actions?
⠀
Asking yourself these questions all the time can be difficult. But try to remember one unproductive thought of yours at the end of the day and "walk" through these questions. This is how you expand your horizons, you can look at the situation from a different point of view and gradually get rid of unproductive thoughts.
