National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy,
with the support of the German Foreign Ministry, German humanitarian assistance,
Malteser International and the Maltese Aid Service of Ukraine
conduct psychological first aid trainings.
Goal
Master the knowledge of psychological first aid, which includes humane, supportive and practical help to people, victims of complex crisis situations.
Duration
6 hours
The training includes the following questions:
- First psychological aid and protective factors of resilience
- First psychological aid in the system of psychosocial support in emergency or crisis situations
- Ethical principles of providing psychological first aid
- Correct communication with victims during the provision of psychological first aid
- People's needs after crisis events
- Operational principles of psychological first aid
- Provision of psychological first aid to children and adolescents
- Self care
