Preparation has begun 30 regional crisis management trainers.

The mental health center of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has started training 30 regional crisis management trainers.

The first stage of training has started 1-5 April 2024 year. Representatives of regional first response institutions took part in the training, centers of social services, educational institutions, Health Care, local self-government bodies, government contact center, regional coordinators of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?».

The training program for regional crisis management trainers is implemented in partnership with the Norwegian Center for Violence Prevention, trauma and suicide (RVTS East) and School of Social Work NaUKMA /School of Social Work NaUKMA.

"Response in emergency situations at the community level, activation of resources, interaction in teams, the role of leaders, crisis communication, psychological safety, creation and functioning of information crisis centers in communities – topics of the curriculum, which will now be available to practical specialists in all regions of Ukraine", – says Oksana Basenko, project manager.

The training program for regional trainers is implemented within the framework of the joint project "Interagency cooperation in the health sector/ UKR23/0016 Institutional Cooperation in the Health Sector" of the Akershus University Clinic (Norway), Норвезького Центру профілактики насильства, trauma and suicide (RVTS East), The Mental Health Center of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Public Organization "Words Help" with the financial support of the Norwegian government.
