A new project on the implementation of the "Safe Space" program was launched in 11 regions of Ukraine

A new project on the implementation of the psychosocial support program for schools has been launched "Safe space" V 11 regions of Ukraine.

The project is focused on the implementation of the program with a special emphasis on increasing the resilience of children and adolescents and mitigating the effects of stress, caused by traumatic events.

The activity of the project provides: 
– training of school psychologists in the methods of conducting group classes with children under the "Safe Space" program; 
– helping children with symptoms of psychosocial stress, depression and anxiety in the format of group classes; 
– provision of individual psychotherapeutic assistance to children from the most vulnerable categories; 
– supervisory support for project psychologists.


The project will cover educational institutions from 11 regions of Ukraine, who were most affected by hostilities: of Odesa, Mykolayivska, of Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkivska, Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv.
